Call for Exhibits! The 8th Children's Art & Science Exhibition

Come and Sign up for The 8th International Children's

 Art & Science Exhibition!

From September 23rd to October 31st, 2025, Symphony of Resonance - the 8th International Children's  Art and Science Exhibition will be held at the Shanghai Art Collection Museum.

This edition presents the captivating interplay between sound art and science through four sections listed below. Through creative installations and interactive experiences, the exhibition transforms acoustic principles into engaging artistic expressions, fostering deeper scientific understanding while inspiring curiosity and innovative thinking among visitors.

This section celebrates nature's diverse soundscape—from rustling leaves and babbling streams to birdsong and wildlife calls—through young artists' creative interpretations. Their works would capture nature's beauty while advocating environmental conservation, inviting viewers to reconnect with the natural world through this harmonious artistic dialogue.

This section traces sound's journey through human civilization - from primal vocalizations to sophisticated recording technologies. Young artists explore this evolution, transforming vintage audio media like vinyl records and cassette tapes into contemporary artworks that bridge past and present. The exhibition reveals how humanity's quest to preserve sound mirrors our technological progress, inviting reflection on the enduring power of the human voice across centuries.

This section unveils the hidden world of inaudible frequencies - from bat-inspired echolocation to earthquake-predicting infrasound. Young artists transform these unseen vibrations into striking visual artworks, using dynamic wave patterns and innovative media to reveal sound's invisible spectrum. The exhibition bridges science and imagination, demonstrating how ultrasonic and subsonic waves profoundly impact our world while inspiring creative exploration of sound's boundless dimensions.

In this section, young artists could reimagine tomorrow's soundscapes and technologies through boundless creativity - from voice-controlled smart environments to sonic energy solutions. The works could fuse technological innovation with artistic expression, offering compelling visions of how sound might revolutionize future communication and interaction.
