2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the two countries, with the hope to strengthen cultural exchanges on people-to-people level as well as introduce the fascinating civilization of Iran to Chinese people, Shanghai Art Collection Museum， along with Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Shanghai and Iran Bordbar Art Foundation, plans to host “Persian Treasures--Iranian Miniature Exhibition”. Splendid miniature artworks from Iran Malek National Museum, Isfahan Contemporary Art Museum , Chehel-Sotoun Palace and Reza Abbasi Museum fly thousands of miles and make their first show in China, which starts the modern version of “Silk Road”.
