With the business expansion, Shanghai Art Collection Museum will have new development opportunities in a wonderful new year. From now on we will continuely upgrade the important events of our museum every month for your information. 
 

 

On January 1st, Vice President of Shanghai CPPCC, Mr. Wang Ronghua and his wife Mrs.Cheng Yan came to visit Shanghai Art Collection Museum• Takashimaya Art Space and sincerely wished us happy new year.

 

On January 2nd, the first working day of 2018, our museum received the reply from Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Foreign Affairs Office about the possibility of holding the International Tour Exhibition of Traditional Chinese Arts and Crafts, which is a good start of the  international cultural exchange of our museum in a new year.

 On January 9th, Executive Curator of the museum, Mrs. Li Shuiqing attended the 2nd conference of the 14th CPPCC Commission of Changning District and delivered a speech with the theme of “Add Cultural Charm to International Changning District”.

On January 10th, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing was employed as one of the tutors for self-cultivation of citizens in Changning District.

 

Besides, the representative of our museum showed the movable-type printing to the audiences on site, which aroused their great interests.

 

 

From January 12th to 14th, President of Shanghai Art Collection Museum, Mr. Hu Muqing led a three-person delegation to Jianyang, Fujian to investigate the Jian Zhan products (a kind of traditional Chinese porcelain). During the trip, they received the warm welcome from Deputy Director of Jianyang District, Mr. Chen Wenfan and Director of Joint Society of Urban Collective Chemical industry, Mr. Chen Jianbin and other related representatives in charge of Jian Zhan products.

 

On January 17th, Director of SISU Graduate Employment Guidance Center, Mrs. Li Yaping,  Director of Graduate Employment Office, Mr. Qi Hongbo and other related representatives visited our museum and talked about the cooperation in the future, which aims to create more work opportunities and experience for international talents in the SISU.  

 

On January 18th, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing visited Chief Representative of Polish Investment & Trade Agency in China, Dr. Andrzej Juchniewicz. They discussed the cooperation opportunities of the Polish Cultural and Commercial Festival & The 2nd Polish Amber Art Exhibition, which is going to be held this September in Shanghai.

 

On January 19th, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing had a meeting with Consul General of Ukraine in Shanghai, Mr. Dmytro Ponomarenko. They discussed the cultural research trip of the delegation from Shanghai Art Collection Museum to Ukraine this March.

 

 On January 24th, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing,attended the expert consultation conference of Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion and Brand Construction hosted by Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV, Mr. Ni Bing, and delivered a speech as an expert member.

 

On January 25th, Chief Representative of Japan Okinawa County (Province) Office in Shanghai paid a visit to Takashimaya Art Space and discussed the possibility of organizing a group of traditional arts and crafts form Okinawa County to attend the exhibition in Takashimaya Art Space.

 

On January 25th, Shanghai Takashimaya Art Space held the Exhibition of Art Gifts for Chinese Spring Festival, which exhibit various art products from different countries.

Joint Exhibition of Chinese Cloisonne and Japanese Enamel held from December 13th, 2017 to January 22nd, 2018 in Takashimaya Art Space brought a visual feast to the audiences.

 

 

On January 26th, the Ministry of Economy, Politics, General Affairs of Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai visited Takashimaya Art Space and discussed the promotion of exhibiting traditional arts and crafts from Japan in the art space.

 

On January 31st, Deputy Director of the 14th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Mrs. Zhong Yanqun, donated once again a collection of art books that she has treasured for many years to our April Institute. 

  

In the morning of January 31st, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing and other representatives visited Consul General of Hungary in Shanghai, Mr. Szilard Bolla and discussed details of the cooperation in a new year, in order to promote the cultural exchange between China and Hungary.

 

In the afternoon of January 31st, President of our museum, Mr. Hu Muqing visited Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai, Mr. Piotr Nowotniak. They had a deep discussion about the research trip of our delegation to Poland this March and details of Polish Cultural and Commercial Festival & The 2nd Polish Amber Art Exhibition.
