On the afternoon of January 4th, the first working day of the New Year, the Tenth Shanghai Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) Vice Chairman Wang Ronghua, the party secretary of Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group (SMEG)XuePeijian braved drizzling snow coming to the museum for inspection.
Two leaders were accompanied by the director of the Museum Committee Mr. Hu Muqing visitingpart of museum's collectionand made depth understanding onrelated exhibits.
Firstly, director Hu expressed gratitude for the strong support for museum from two leaders.
It is reported that Wang Ronghua is a highly respected the cultural sector leadership. Mr. Wangsuccessively held the posts of the vice chairman of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the deputy Secretary-Generalof the Shanghai Municipal Government, the party secretary and dean of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, deputy party secretary of Fudan Universityand some other important duties. Wang Ronghuahas repeatedly to attendseveral important occasions and activities of the museum. Meanwhile,Mr. Wang appointed himself to lead the work of “Second session China, Japan, and South Korea famous Art Invitational Exhibition” activities which were held in the Shanghai Art Collection Museum last year.
Another significant guest is Secretary XuePeijian. Mr. Xueonce was appointed the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group chairman and president, the deputy director of the city Board ofEducation and East China Normal University Vice-Chancellor. He is responsible for leadership of the cultural and creative industries long-term. During the first session of China, Japan, Korea, famous Art Invitational Exhibition activities in Shanghai Art Collection Museum, he had givenstrong support in media publicity section.
The two leaders also put forward guiding opinions on how to do better and brilliant work in the New Year.
